A long day.

While driving a friend to the airport my husband called me to tell me that my Mother In Law fell and injured her hip. They too her by ambulance to the hospital where it was found to be a broken hip. She broke her right hip 5 years ago. Same break, same repair now on the left. She went at 11:30 a.m. into surgery finally at 6:30 p.m. Still in recovery at 8:30 p.m. Bob sent me home to tend the dog, etc... at 7:00.  Hopefully he will be home soon. And hopefully she will get a bit of rest tonight.
